Likat haastoivat lohkoykkösen!

Sunnuntaina 4.2. vietettiin jännittävää hetkeä Pihtipudas-salissa, kun N2-joukkue pelasi vuoden ensimmäisen kotipelinsä. Vastustajaksi he saivat kovan joukkueen, sillä edessä oli Vehniän Wartti, alkulohkonsa voittaja. Susanne ja Anniina kertovat tunnelmia tästä ottelusta

Sunnuntaina pelailtiin vuoden ensimmäinen kotipeli! Vastassa oli alkulohkonsa voittanut Vehniän Wartti. Saimme peliin vahvistuksia liigan puolelta.

Heti ensimmäisen erän alussa saimme pelin rullaamaan mainiosti. Saatiin painavalla syötöllä vastustajan vastaanotto sekaisin. Pisteet olivat 12-2 meille. Olimme oikeastaan koko erän ajan kuskin paikalla ja näin ensimmäinen erä päättyi lukemin 25-10.

Toinen erä lähti käyntiin Noora Hakosen kahdella ässällä! Peli jatkui samaan tapaan mitä ensimmäisessä erässä. Oona Rasinperän syöttövuorolla keräsimme pisteitä urakalla tilanteeseen 13-4. Loppu erä eteni tasaisesti ja pisteitä tuli molemmille. Toinen erä myös meidän nimiimme pistein 25-17.

Pitkän erätauon jälkeen kolmanteen erään. Erä eteni tasaisesti, mutta wartti sai pelin käyntiin ja pääsi niskan päälle. Tilanteessa 13-16 aikalisän jälkeen löimme kuitenkin uuden vaihteen sisään. Kirimme rinnalle ja ohi! Erän ensimmäinen eräpallo kuului wartille. Pallo kuitenkin kuoli Oonan lyönnistä vastustajan kenttään ja tilanne oli jälleen tasan. Lopulta erä päättyi meille 26-24.

Sehän oli siis yy kaa koo VOITTO!!! Peli meille 3-0! Pelasimme koko pelin hyvällä meiningillä mahtavan kannustuksen kanssa. Pelissä nähtiin hienoja hyökkäyksiä ja torjuntoja. Vastustajalta parhaan pelaajana palkittiin Sonja Mielonen ja meiltä Inka Siekkinen.

On Sunday, February 4th, an exciting moment unfolded in Pihtipudas Hall as the N2 team played their first home game of the year. They faced a formidable opponent in Vehniän Wartti, the winners of their preliminary group. Susanne and Anniina share their impressions of the match.

The first home game of the year was played on Sunday! The opponents were Vehniän Wartti, winners of their preliminary group. We received reinforcements from the league for the game.

Right from the beginning of the first set, the game flowed smoothly. With powerful serves, we disrupted the opponent’s reception, leading 12-2. We maintained control throughout the set, and the first set ended with a score of 25-10.

The second set started with two aces from Noora Hakonen! The game continued much like the first set. With Oona Rasinperä’s serving turn, we gathered points steadily, reaching a score of 13-4. The latter part of the set progressed evenly, with points for both teams. The second set also ended in our favor with a score of 25-17.

After a long intermission, we entered the third set. The set progressed evenly, but Wartti gained momentum and took the lead. Despite an 13-16 score after a timeout, we shifted gears. We caught up and surpassed them! Although Wartti had the first set point, a powerful hit from Oona into the opponent’s court tied the score once again. Finally, we won the set 26-24.

So, it was a straight-set victory! The final score was 3-0 in our favor. We played the entire game with a positive atmosphere and fantastic support. The match showcased impressive attacks and blocks. Sonja Mielonen from the opponent’s team was recognized as the best player, and Inka Siekkinen received the accolade from our team.
