Naisilla kova halu voittaa! Vielä ei kuitenkaan voittoa herunut Alahärmästä

N2-joukkue vierailulla Alahärmässä. Joukkueen toinen libero Iisa Pieviläinen kertoo kuinka peli sujui:

Lomat on lusittu nyt ja perjantaina N2-joukkue palasi työn touhuun hallille hakemaan tatsia sunnuntaita ja Alahärmän reissua varten. Sunnuntaina lähettiin matkaan hyvällä pössiksellä ja kaikilla oli halu ottaa vihdoin jo hetken odotettu kauden avausvoitto. Sidottiin pelikengät kiriäks, hiukset tiukalle ponnarille ja haaveiltiin Hesburgerin voittomätöistä. 

Lähettiin ekaan erään hyvällä fiiliksellä ja varmoilla, sekä kovilla suorituksilla. Kentällä peli rullasi hyvin, fiilis oli katossa ja tunnettiin olevamme joukkue. Ensimmäisestä erästä meille napsahti voitto, selkeällä omalla hyvällä tekemisellä. Erikoismaininta eräpallossa ryömineelle Emmalle, joka händläsi konttauksen paremmin kuin kukaan aiemmin näkemämme. Ensimmäinen erä Plokille 25-23.

Toisessa erässä jatkettiin ekan erän varmalla fiiliksellä ja halulla voittaa. Alkuerässä tapahtui notkahduksia, joista noustiin hienosti joukkueena jopa tilanteesta 9-4 kaverille tilanteeseen 15-14 asti. Peli oli nousun jälkeen aivan omissa pikku kätösissä, mutta erän lopussa vastustaja päästettiin loppuun tiukasti viimeisiin pisteisiin aste taistellen. Toinen erä tiukasti vastustajalle 23-25.

Kolmannen erän alku oli meiltä täynnä hyviä onnistumisia, mutta hyvän alun jälkeen päästimme kaverin laskettelemaan erän loppuun liian helposti. Kolmas erä vastustajalle 18-25.

Neljännen erän alussa meillä oli palava halu ottaa erä omiin käsiin. Tilanteeseen 8-8 asti oltiin tosi hyvin mukana pelissä, mutta sen jälkeen vähän roikuttiin kelkassa kiinni vasemman käden varassa. Loppu erässä tehtiin kaverille enemmän pisteitä kun laki sallii, mutta nähtiin myös kovaa taistelua palloista ihan loppuun asti. Neljäs erä vastustajalle 17-25 ja näin koko peli vastustajalle 1-3.

Peli erosi aiemmista siten, että näimme kentällä joukkueen joka kantoi yhdessä vastuun virheistä. Pelissä oli iloa ja osasimme nauraa omille virheillemme. Vastaanotto- ja puolustuspelaaminen toimi hyvin, mutta kehitettävää jäi vielä etenkin torjunnassa sekä puolustuspaikoissa. Parhaana meiltä palkittiin tasaisen pelin pelannut Niina Hakonen.

Pitkän kehityskeskustelun jälkeen päätettiin porukalla lähteä lotteronliotukselle, eli pallipyykille mutta sen feminiiniselle versiolle ja sapuskalle.

N2-joukkue nähdään seuraavan kerran kotipelissä ensi sunnuntaina, mutta sitä ennen lukion joukkue pelaa keskiviikkona koululiikuntaliiton lentopalloturnauksessa ja A-junnut käy neppailemassa lauantaina Lapualla. Muistakaa kaikki ettei vaihtopenkille jätetä roskia!

Women’s team have a strong desire to win!

The holidays are over now and on Friday the N2 team went back to work to get in shape for Sunday and the trip to Alahärmä. On Sunday, the team set off with a good feeling and everyone was eager to finally take the long-awaited opening win of the season. We tied our shoes, tied our hair up in a tight bun and dreamed of food from Hesburger after a good win. 

We started the first set with a good mood and confident, as well as hard performances. On the court the game was rolling well, the mood was high and we felt like a team. From the first set we got the win, with a clear good performance of our own. A special mention to Emma, who crawled in the batch ball, and who handled the contortion better than anyone we had seen before. First set for Ploki 25-23.

The beginning of the third set was full of good chances for us, but after a good start we let the opponent play too easily for the rest of the set. Third set for the opponent 18-25.

At the beginning of the fourth set we had a burning desire to take the game into our own hands. Up to 8-8 we were really well in the game, but after that we were a bit stuck. In the rest of the set we scored more points to the opponent than the law allows, but we also saw a hard fight for the balls until the very end. The fourth set for the opponent 17-25 and so the whole game for the opponent 1-3.

The game was different from the previous ones in that we saw a team on the court that shared responsibility for mistakes. There was joy in the game and we could laugh at our mistakes. Our reception and defensive play worked well, but we still had room for improvement, especially in blocking and defensive positions. Our best player was Niina Hakonen, who played a steady game.

After a long discussion about the development, the group decided to go to a refreshing shower and eat.

The N2 team will next play at home next Sunday, but before that the high school team will play in the School Sports Federation volleyball tournament on Wednesday, and the A-team will play in Lapua on Saturday. Remember, everyone, no litter on the bench!
