A-tytöillä tuomisina kaksi tuplaveetä

Kolme ottelua Nurmossa aprillipäivänä – ja kovasti siellä kairattiin, kirjoittaa Niina Hakonen otteluraportissaan.

Lauantaina 1.4. lähettiin ihan sillee semiaikasin matkalle Nurmon suunnille.

Ensimmäinen peli oli aivan tuntematonta vastustajaa LPK:ta vastaan. Ensimmäisen erän huonosta alusta huolimatta kairattiin erä kotiin (29–27). Toisessa erässä LPK näytti mitä ossaa ja nappas erän kottiin (19–25). Kolmanteen erään lähdettiin mahtavalla draivilla ja kairattiin otteluvoitto (15–13) 2–1.

Toinen peli NJ/tk:ta vastaan oli himotasaista vääntöä ensimmäisen erän pistejahdista huolimatta. Ensimmäinen erä meille hirmusella loppukirillä 25–23. Toinen erä meni Nurmolle 23–25. Nurmo paranti omaa peliään toiseen erään huomattavasti. Kolmanteen erään meijän kone lähti hittaammin käyntii, mutta saatii loppujen lopuksi V8 tulille ja kairattiin otteluvoitto 2–1.

Kolmas peli oli V8-moottorille hieman liikaa. Kone ei käynnistynyt oikein missään kohtaa, mutta hienoja suorituksia ja taistelupalloja nähtiin silti. Kolmas peli meni Karhulle suoraan kahdessa erässä. (25–21, 25–22)
Kotiin tuomisina siis 2/3 tuplaveetä.

The A-girls brought two double-u’s

Three matches in Nurmo on April Fool’s Day – and there was a lot of drilling, writes Niina Hakonen in her match report.

On Saturday the first of April we went on a semi-timely trip to the direction of Nurmo.

The first game was against a completely unknown opponent, LPK. Despite the bad start of the first set, the set went home (29–27). In the second set, LPK showed what they are capable of and won the set (19–25). We started the third set with a great drive and won the match (15–13) 2–1.

The second game against NJ/tk was a smooth twist despite the point chase in the first set. The first set ended 25–23 with a terrible score for us. The second set went to Nurmo 23–25. Nurmo improved its game considerably in the second set. The machine of the third team got off to a slow start, but eventually got the V8 fired up and won the match 2–1.

The third game was a little too much for the V8 engine. The machine didn’t really start at any point, but there were still some great performances and battle balls. The third game went straight to Karhu in two sets. (25–21, 25–22)

Bringing home 2/3 double-u’s.
